At NODE40, user experience is paramount. We prioritize client feedback to continually enhance our platform, and always place our clients at the core of our development process. Our support team is actively listening to your needs, pain points, and suggestions. This feedback results in some amazing enhancements!
This week, we’re highlighting some important features now available.
Base Chain Implementation
NODE40 Balance now supports API ingestion of Base blockchain transactions. Base, an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible, Layer-2 (L2) blockchain solution developed by Coinbase, is currently the sixth largest blockchain by market cap. To learn more about Base, please see this article.
EVM Wallet Ingestion Efficiencies
We’ve made several improvements to our internal services and updates to external partners to speed up data ingestion and downloads throughout our platform.
Enhanced Timeline Search
- You can now search Timeline View with Exchange Ledger Item IDs, as shown on your Balance Sheet Report. This makes it faster than ever for you to relate our Reports back to the Balance interface directly.
- Timeline View now also supports improved search and filtering for all manual transactions, including roll forward balance adjustments.
View Tax Lot Creation and Acquisition Dates
Lot creation and acquisition dates are now visible on both the web interface and in the Balance Sheet Report. The lot creation date may differ from the acquisition date due to the timing of when the digital asset was transferred versus when it was originally acquired. Differentiating between these dates provides a clearer historical context of the asset, which can be crucial for financial reporting and decision-making. The acquisition date is particularly important for accurately calculating capital gains or losses.
View All Imported Wallet Addresses
Users can now easily view and export a list of all Imported Wallet Addresses and xPub Keys in their portfolio.
Easy Migrations from Other Providers
We understand many of our clients transition to NODE40 from platforms that were either unable or unwilling to meet their tracking needs. This poses challenges not only in migrating data but also in reconciling historical records.
In response, our latest release includes a powerful tool designed to streamline the migration process. Balance can now automatically parse data from other platforms and identify a user’s sources, allowing for seamless integration of supported data. For those with prior-year records that need reconciliation, our in-house Analyst Team is ready to assist.
