Business Analyst

NODE40 is a fast growing blockchain data analytics company catering to the needs of business and retail customers in the cryptocurrency industry with a focus on digital asset lifecycle tracking for thousands of tokens across wallets and exchanges.

NODE40 is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze, evaluate, and refine our processes. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

This is a remote position. Your ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate are critical to your success. We use common services including Slack, Google Apps, Jira, and confluence.

Product & Market Expert

• You are expected to use this role to develop into a NODE40 product expert in order to properly advise internal and external stakeholders on the features and proper use of the product.
• You are expected to use this role to develop into a blockchain and financial exchange expert in order to properly identify and advise on the features/enhancements required to meet client/market needs, especially in the context of tax reporting requirements.
• Being a product & market expert includes the ability to concisely communicate complex concepts to those without your knowledge and experience.

Client / Developer Requirements Liaison

• Act as an account manager for VIP clients.
• Develop feature/enhancement requirements based on client/market needs.
• Consult with and advise developers as questions arise related to feature/enhancement requirements.
• Validate reports and other deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of the clients/market.

Active Communication

• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with colleagues and clients. Client interaction is expected with VIP clients as well as other clients/prospects when you are the best person to handle a client request or inquiry.
• Raise issues during meetings and provide feedback, including successes and blockers.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Staying up-to-date on the product and market
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, engineers, and managerial staff.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
